• "Documents" means any files, invoices, receipts, or other materials uploaded to the Service
• "Subscription" means your paid access to the Service

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Service.

3. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must:

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different features and document limits. Details of current plans are available on our pricing page.

5.2 Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable
• Payment is processed securely via Stripe

5.3 Document Credits

Document credits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Credits purchased for additional document processing cannot be refunded and do not expire.

5.4 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and it will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload illegal, fraudulent, or misleading documents
• Use the Service for money laundering or financial fraud
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others

7. Document Processing

7.1 Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy in document processing, we do not guarantee 100% accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data before use.

7.2 Your Documents

You retain all ownership rights to your Documents. By uploading Documents, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display them as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Accountancy Practice Links

If you link your account to an accountancy practice, you authorise us to share your Documents and data with that practice. You may revoke this access at any time through your account settings.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, design, and content, belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We provide the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or through your account settings.

• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period. You may request a copy of your data before termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
